Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to streamline our logistics processes in Johannesburg. You will manage inventory levels, coordinate shipments, and ensure timely delivery of goods while maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and clients.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement logistics plans and procedures.
• Ensure cost-effective management of logistics resources.
• Communicate with clients regarding order status and shipping.
• Utilize logistics software to track shipments and inventory.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
• Support project management initiatives to improve logistics.
• Negotiate contracts with logistics service providers.
• Stay updated on industry trends and changes in regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in logistics management

Technical Skills

• Supply Chain Optimization
• Freight Forwarding

Soft Skills

• Team Leadership
• Negotiation

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Certification
• Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM)

Languages

• English: Fluent
