Mechanical Technician

Job Description

As a Mechanical Technician, you will work directly with our engineering team to maintain and optimize mechanical systems. This hands-on role requires a deep understanding of mechanical principles and a strong capability in diagnosing and fixing issues.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and preventative maintenance on machines.
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Support the engineering team with project tasks and implementations.
• Interface with suppliers and vendors for parts and equipment.
• Document maintenance procedures and amend them as necessary.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Engage in continuous education to stay updated on best practices.

Requirements

Education

• National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or similar qualification
• Higher qualification in engineering is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant mechanical experience
