Job Description

We are searching for a dynamic Brand Manager to join our Durban team. In this role, you will develop and execute brand strategies, oversee marketing initiatives, and lead market research efforts to understand consumer behaviour. Your insights will guide our brand direction and enhance overall brand equity.

Responsibilities

  • Drive brand growth by identifying market opportunities and consumer insights.
  • Lead creative brainstorming sessions for brand campaigns.
  • Monitor social media and online presence to engage with consumers.
  • Develop product positioning strategies that resonate with the target audience.
  • Manage brand budgets and ensure effective use of marketing funds.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to develop promotional strategies.
  • Prepare presentations for stakeholders regarding brand performance and strategy.
  • Attend industry events and conferences to promote the brand.
  • Foster a culture of creativity and innovation within the marketing team.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Business Administration or Marketing
  • MBA with a marketing focus is preferred

  • Minimum of 5 years in brand management or strategic marketing roles
