Job Description

As a Compliance Officer, you will be the guardian of compliance standards within our Johannesburg office. Your responsibilities will include ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, preparing compliance reports, and acting as a liaison with government agencies.

Responsibilities

• Identify areas for compliance improvement and implement strategies.
• Lead compliance initiatives and projects.
• Maintain relationships with regulatory bodies and stakeholders.
• Document compliance processes and policies.
• Provide compliance support and mentorship to the team.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in corporate compliance or risk management

Technical Skills

• Compliance Software
• Policy Development

• Negotiation
• Team Leadership

Certifications

• Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in compliance training: Ability to design and deliver compliance training sessions.
