As a Healthcare Assistant, you will provide compassionate support and care to patients at our Port Elizabeth facility. Your responsibilities will include helping with daily living activities, liaising with medical personnel, and fostering a positive experience for our patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support to patients in daily living activities.
• Assist nursing staff in monitoring patient health conditions.
• Communicate effectively with both patients and healthcare providers.
• Keep patient areas clean and organized.
• Assist in feeding, grooming, and hygiene tasks.
• Document crucial patient information in care records.
• Contribute to a welcoming and supportive environment for patients.
• Collate and report any concerns regarding patient health.
• Participate actively in team care meetings.

Advantageous

• Certification in Geriatric Care: Specialized training in elderly patient care is a plus.
• Experience with patient mobility aids: Knowledge of using mobility assistance devices.
