Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Solutions Architect to spearhead our cloud initiatives in Cape Town. Your role will focus on architecting cloud solutions and ensuring the seamless integration of various services. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to propose, design, and implement industry-leading solutions tailored for client success.

Responsibilities

• Create reference architectures and guidelines for cloud deployments.
• Advise on cost optimization strategies within the cloud.
• Manage ongoing operations and maintenance of cloud resources.
• Evaluate and incorporate new cloud technologies and innovations.
• Work with compliance teams to ensure regulatory adherence.
• Engage in capacity planning and forecasting for cloud resources.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or similar
• Master's degree in Cloud Computing or a related field is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in enterprise-level cloud solutions

Technical Skills

• Kubernetes

Certifications

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect

Languages

• English: Fluent
