Job Description

Join our dynamic architecture team in Johannesburg as an Architect. You will play a crucial role in the design, planning, and execution of diverse projects. The ideal candidate will have a flair for innovation and a strong understanding of sustainable design principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead design workshops and brainstorming sessions with project teams.
• Advise on the feasibility of projects concerning architecture, site conditions, and budget.
• Review and approve contractor submissions and shop drawings.
• Ensure all designs are compliant with health and safety regulations.
• Mentor junior architects and interns to promote skill development.
• Participate in marketing and business development efforts to attract new clients.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Interior Design
• Master's degree in a related field is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of architectural experience with a portfolio of completed projects

Technical Skills

• Design Software (AutoCAD, Revit)
• Project Management

• Registered Professional Architect
• Sustainable Design Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational
