Job Description

Join our team as a veterinarian in Durban, where you will provide comprehensive healthcare for animals. You will diagnose, treat, and provide preventive care, supporting both pets and their owners in our community.

Responsibilities

  • Examine animals for signs of illness and injury.
  • Develop and implement health care plans tailored to individual animals.
  • Perform diagnostic imaging such as X-rays and ultrasounds.
  • Assist in laboratory tests and interpret results.
  • Lead community health initiatives aimed at pet welfare.
  • Stay updated with the latest veterinary practices and technologies.
  • Provide mentorship to intern veterinarians and support staff.

Requirements

Education
  • DVM (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine)
  • Postgraduate qualification in Veterinary Science is an advantage
Experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in a veterinary practice
