Warehouse Manager

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a Warehouse Manager to oversee and improve our warehouse operations in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficient inventory management, team leadership, and implementing effective logistics strategies.

Responsibilities

• Manage the warehouse layout and optimize space utilization.
• Coordinate logistics with transportation teams for timely delivery.
• Train staff on best practices for handling and storing products.
• Evaluate and resolve shipping discrepancies and customer complaints.
• Develop and enforce warehouse policies to enhance efficiency.
• Conduct regular audits to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Stay updated on industry trends and technologies in logistics.

Requirements

Education

• Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years in logistics management with a focus on warehousing

Technical Skills

• Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• Data Analysis

Soft Skills

• Communication
• Time Management

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with automation technologies in warehousing: Knowledge of robotic and automation systems used in warehousing.
