Public Health Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a results-driven Public Health Specialist dedicated to improving the health standards of our community. Your expertise will help identify health risks and develop targeted interventions while working closely with government bodies and health organizations to enhance public health strategies across Cape Town.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate community health programs and provide feedback for improvement.
• Participate in health advocacy efforts at the local and national levels.
• Develop partnerships with local organizations to promote wellness programs.
• Lead initiatives to improve immunization rates in the community.
• Facilitate focus groups to gather input on health service needs.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Health Education, or a related field
• Master's degree in Public Health or related field is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in public health or community health.
