Coal Gasification Technician

Job Description

The Coal Gasification Technician will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining the production process of coal gasification. They will ensure that equipment and systems are functioning correctly, troubleshoot any issues that may arise, and implement process improvements to optimize production.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of coal gasification systems.
• Optimize coal-to-gas conversion processes for efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational challenges.
• Prepare reports regarding plant performance and equipment status.
• Oversee the training of staff in safety and operational protocols.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Chemical or Process Engineering
• Certification in related field preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in plant operations and maintenance

Technical Skills

• Gas turbine operations
• Process control systems

Certifications

• Environmental Awareness Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
