Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Construction Manager to oversee construction projects in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in project management, exceptional leadership skills, and a keen eye for detail. You will be responsible for coordinating all construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and delivering projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all phases of construction to guarantee quality and timely delivery.
  • Manage team dynamics and maintain a positive working environment.
  • Review contract documents and manage project contracts.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks proactively.
  • Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Prepare detailed project reports for stakeholders.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering
  • Professional certifications such as QS or similar are a plus
Experience
  • Over 5 years of experience in construction project management
