Job Description

As the Teenage Program Director, you will lead the strategic planning and execution of dynamic programs tailored for teenagers in South Africa. This includes ensuring participant safety, fostering engagement, and managing a passionate team of staff and volunteers. Your role is vital in shaping the future of our young community.

Responsibilities

  • Create strategic plans for program development that align with organizational goals.
  • Supervise a team of program coordinators and outreach specialists, ensuring effective implementation of initiatives.
  • Engage with the community and stakeholders to promote programs and encourage participation.
  • Conduct training sessions for staff on program delivery and youth engagement strategies.
  • Utilize feedback and data to adapt and improve program structures to meet the needs of participants.
  • Manage communication and outreach efforts to increase program visibility.
  • Prepare reports and presentations to showcase program outcomes and impact.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Youth Studies, Social Work, or related field
  • Master's degree in a relevant field is preferred
Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in related fields such as community services or social programming
