Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Veterinarian to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate should possess a strong commitment to animal welfare and a passion for providing quality healthcare services to pets and wildlife. This role involves diagnosing and treating various animal health issues, performing surgeries, and educating pet owners about preventative care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct surgical procedures and postoperative care.
• Provide emergency and critical care as needed.
• Develop and implement preventative health care plans tailored to individual pets.
• Collaborate with specialists when necessary for complex cases.
• Advise on pet behavior and nutrition.
• Assist in the training and mentorship of veterinary interns and staff.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science
• SAVC registration

Experience

• At least 5 years in a clinical setting.
