Tax Consultant

Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable Tax Consultant to join our Johannesburg office. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of tax legislation and be capable of advising clients on tax compliance and planning strategies to minimize their liabilities.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on tax implications of business decisions and transactions.
• Prepare and review corporate and personal tax returns, ensuring compliance with legislation.
• Conduct tax research and develop strategies to minimize tax liabilities.
• Assist with due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and restructuring transactions.
• Provide training and guidance to junior staff on tax compliance and best practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Master's degree in Taxation is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in tax advisory services

Certifications

• Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA)
