We are seeking a skilled Veterinary Surgeon to join our dedicated team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating animals, performing surgeries, and providing high-quality care to ensure the health of our patients.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee day-to-day clinical operations.
• Carry out diagnostic tests and interpret results.
• Perform dental cleanings and oral surgery as necessary.
• Advise pet owners on nutrition and overall wellness.
• Utilize modern veterinary technology for diagnostics and treatment.
• Participate in continuing education and professional development.
• Provide mentorship and training to new team members.
• Engage in collaborative case management with specialists when necessary.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science or equivalent
• Postgraduate training in veterinary surgery preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a clinical environment

• Emergency care

Certifications

• Veterinary Anesthesia and Analgesia Certification
• Certified Veterinary Practitioner (CVP)

Languages
