Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer who will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of our machinery in Pretoria. In this role, you will oversee maintenance operations, troubleshoot equipment failures, and implement preventative measures to enhance productivity.

Responsibilities

• Lead the maintenance engineering team in troubleshooting mechanical issues.
• Implement reliability-centered maintenance programs.
• Monitor equipment performance and implement corrective actions.
• Support engineering design changes and upgrades to existing equipment.
• Maintain stock levels of spare parts and consumables.
• Participate in budget planning for maintenance activities.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field
• Master's degree will be advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance

• Hydraulics and Pneumatics
