Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Public Health Officer to assess and improve public health programs in Bloemfontein. The candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating health initiatives that enhance health outcomes within the community.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and respond to public health emergencies or outbreaks.
• Support data collection and analysis for health research projects.
• Foster community partnerships to enhance public health initiatives.
• Provide consultation and expertise to community organizations on health-related matters.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Social Science or related field
• Master's degree in Public Health or Epidemiology preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in community outreach or health promotion

Certifications

• Certificate in Public Health Administration

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Sesotho: Basic

Advantageous
