Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate Mental Health Counsellor to join our Johannesburg team. This role involves offering therapeutic support to individuals facing mental health challenges, conducting assessments, and collaborating with healthcare providers to enhance client well-being.

Responsibilities

• Provide emotional support and counselling to clients.
• Evaluate clinical assessments and recommend treatment options.
• Engage in community outreach programs to promote mental health.
• Collaborate with family members to enhance client support.
• Prepare reports on client progress and therapeutic outcomes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Psychiatry, Psychology, or Social Work
• Master's degree in Clinical Psychology is an advantage

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in mental health counselling

Technical Skills

• Crisis intervention skills
• Therapeutic techniques

Soft Skills

• Conflict resolution
• Teamwork

Certifications

• Certified Clinical Psychologist
• Trauma-Informed Care Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
