Job Description

As a Plating Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring metal surfaces are expertly prepared and coated using various plating techniques. Your skills in monitoring equipment and quality control will be essential to our operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and operate plating equipment for surface treatment.
• Monitor and maintain operating conditions of plating processes.
• Inspect final products for quality assurance and compliance.
• Develop, refine, and document plating recipes and procedures.
• Collaborate with the production team to enhance plating efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards.
• Assist in training new technicians on plating operations.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage inventory of plating chemicals and supplies.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent with a preference for technical qualifications.

Experience

• 2+ years in a plating or manufacturing environment.
