Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Highway Maintenance Workers to join our team in Johannesburg. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of traffic signal systems, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

• Install and replace traffic signal equipment as required.
• Troubleshoot and rectify signal malfunctioning in a timely manner.
• Assist in traffic studies and report findings to the maintenance supervisor.
• Document all maintenance activities and update database regularly.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on traffic signal design projects.
• Maintain effective communication with local authorities regarding traffic signal operations.
• Ensure work sites are safe and organize for public safety during repairs.
• Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements

Education

• Technical Diploma in Electrical Engineering.

Experience

• 5 years' experience in traffic signal systems.

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational
