Public Health Specialist

Job Description

As a Public Health Specialist, you will engage in research, assessment, and program implementation aimed at improving community health standards. Your expertise will guide the development and evaluation of health promotion activities within diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct epidemiological research and data collection.
• Develop health communication materials for the community.
• Engage in project management for public health campaigns.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of health interventions.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.
• Utilize statistical software for data analysis.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of health programs.
• Present findings at community health forums and seminars.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences or Public Health
• Master's degree in Public Health is preferred

Experience

• At least 5 years of experience in public health roles with demonstrated outcomes.

• Statistical Software (e.g. SPSS, SAS)

Certifications

• Public Health Certification Board (CPH)

Languages

• English: Fluent
