As a Veterinarian at Animal Health Solutions, you will deliver comprehensive veterinary care, focusing on both clinical and surgical treatments. You will work collaboratively with our team to promote animal health and deliver outstanding service to pet owners in Pietermaritzburg. Responsibilities

• Assess patient health and develop treatment plans.
• Conduct routine surgeries and emergency procedures.
• Provide compassionate care to animals and their owners.
• Monitor hospitalized patients and adjust treatments as needed.
• Engage in training and mentoring junior veterinary staff.
• Support the management of the clinic and its operations.
• Participate in client education programs regarding animal care.
• Implement protocols for infection control and biosecurity.
• Review and update medical protocols and policies.
• Participate in staff meetings and contribute to clinic planning.

Requirements

Education

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)
• Postgraduate qualifications in Veterinary Science are advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a veterinary practice setting
