Job Description

We are on the lookout for a Supply Chain Manager to drive our supply chain operations in Cape Town. The successful candidate will oversee the entire supply chain process, from procurement to distribution, ensuring that logistics are efficiently managed and that costs are minimized. This role requires strategic thinking and a hands-on approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all supply chain functions.
• Evaluate and optimize logistics strategies to reduce costs.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards in all supply chain activities.
• Monitor market trends to inform procurement decisions.
• Collaborate with IT teams to enhance supply chain software systems.
• Manage relationships with key stakeholders and customers.
• Develop contingency plans to address potential supply chain disruptions.
• Foster a culture of compliance and ethical practices within the team.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics or Business Management
• MBA or related advanced degree is an advantage

Experience

• 7+ years of experience in supply chain or logistics management

Certifications

• Certified Supply Chain Manager (CSCM)

Languages
