Job Description

We are on the lookout for a dedicated Field Service Technician to carry out installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment on customer sites. If you possess excellent technical skills and a passion for customer service, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

  • Provide timely installation and maintenance services for equipment.
  • Conduct thorough diagnostics and troubleshooting for equipment issues.
  • Educate clients on product functionality and best practices.
  • Maintain accurate records of service calls and repairs.
  • Engage with customers to identify and resolve issues promptly.
  • Implement feedback from customers to improve service quality.
  • Assist in inventory management of tools and equipment.
  • Stay informed about advancements in technology relevant to equipment.
  • Collaborate with sales and support teams to improve customer satisfaction.
  • Follow all safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements

Education
  • Technical Diploma or relevant certification
  • Matric Certificate or equivalent
Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in field service roles.
Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in reading technical manuals and schematics
  • Good knowledge of diagnostic tools and equipment
Soft Skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to work independently
Certifications
  • OSHA Safety Certification
  • Technical Certifications (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical)
Languages
  • English: Fluent
  • Zulu: Conversational

Advantageous

  • Experience with specific equipment or systems relevant to the industry: Familiarity with the equipment specific to our company operations.
