As a Veterinary Surgeon at our Cape Town clinic, you will engage in hands-on medicine, performing routine check-ups and emergency procedures, while ensuring the highest standards of animal welfare. Responsibilities

• Evaluate animal health and devise treatment plans.
• Carry out surgical operations and manage anesthesia.
• Keep abreast of advancements in veterinary medicine.
• Foster strong relationships with pet owners through effective communication.
• Supervise the veterinary team and coordinate tasks effectively.
• Address and adhere to all animal welfare regulations.
• Participate in community outreach programs for public education.

Requirements

Education

• DVM from an accredited veterinary school

Experience

• 5+ years of diverse veterinary practice experience

Technical Skills

• Anesthesia Management
• Emergency Care

Soft Skills

Certifications

• BLS & ACLS Certified

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic

Advantageous
