Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join our dedicated team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in small animal medicine, have excellent surgical skills, and a passion for animal care. Responsibilities include diagnosing medical conditions, conducting surgeries, and providing aftercare.

Responsibilities

  • Examine animals and assess their health.
  • Execute surgical procedures with precision.
  • Create and implement individualized care plans.
  • Provide education on pet nutrition and preventive care.
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance clinic efficiency.
  • Address client inquiries and concerns with compassion.
  • Participate in staff training and development sessions.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine
  • Membership in professional veterinary associations is preferred

  • 3+ years in a veterinary practice setting
