Job Description

As a Cloud Architect, you will engage with key stakeholders to establish cloud strategy and architecture frameworks in our Durban office. Your experience in DevOps practices will be vital as you guide projects from conception through to implementation and optimization, ensuring high performance and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Research and deploy innovative cloud technologies to improve efficiency.
• Work closely with cybersecurity teams to safeguard cloud services.
• Ensure proper deployment and integration of third-party services into cloud solutions.
• Maintain disaster recovery and backup strategies for cloud services.
• Engage with clients to provide tailored cloud solutions that meet their requirements.
• Monitor cloud performance and implement necessary adjustments.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Master's degree in a relevant discipline is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cloud services and infrastructure design

• Terraform

• AWS Certified Advanced Networking

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
