Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Solar Energy Consultant to join our team in Johannesburg. You will play a crucial role in advising clients on solar energy solutions, ensuring they implement the best practices for renewable energy within their operations.

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to identify energy needs and solar opportunities.
• Prepare comprehensive proposals and project plans for solar installations.
• Monitor and report on project progress and client satisfaction.
• Work alongside project managers to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Research and provide insights into emerging solar technologies.
• Advise on financing options and incentives available for solar projects.
• Facilitate training sessions for clients post-implementation.
• Engage in community outreach to promote solar initiatives.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through ongoing support.
• Track changes in solar industry regulations and standards.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Renewable Energy Engineering or equivalent
• Master's in a related field preferred

Experience

• 3+ years in solar project management or consulting
