Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Patcher Helper to join our construction team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will assist in patching and maintenance projects, providing support to seasoned professionals in ensuring high-quality results.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces by removing debris and applying primer as needed.
• Accurately mix patching materials and ensure proper application techniques.
• Keep work areas tidy and tools organized for efficient operation.
• Assist in measuring and cutting materials for patching tasks.
• Maintain all equipment in good working condition and report any issues.
• Learn and implement safety measures while performing tasks.
• Experiment with different patching methods under supervision to broaden skills.
• Support other tradespeople on site as needed.
• Contribute ideas for process improvements during team discussions.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 10 or equivalent qualification

Experience

• Experience in the construction or building industry is required

Languages

• English: Fluent
