Flexographic Printing Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Flexographic Printing Operator who will be responsible for operating and maintaining our flexographic printing equipment, ensuring the highest quality standards are upheld during production. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain flexo printing presses to ensure high-quality output.
• Adjust printing parameters based on project specifications.
• Train and mentor junior staff on printing procedures and equipment use.
• Implement Lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency.
• Keep accurate production records and report on output.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals.
• Maintain an organized and safe work environment.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent
• Technical diploma in printing technology or related field is preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience operating flexographic printers in a manufacturing environment.

Technical Skills

• Flexo Press Operation
• Preventative maintenance

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Communication

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with UV printing technology: Hands-on experience with UV curing processes in printing.
• Familiarity with digital printing technologies: Basic knowledge of digital printing methods is a plus.
