Job Description

We are seeking a Logistics Coordinator to oversee our supply chain and ensure the timely delivery of goods. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail, enabling them to efficiently manage logistics processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement logistics strategies to enhance efficiency.
• Liaise with various departments to coordinate shipments.
• Analyze data to improve logistics performance and reduce costs.
• Assist in the training and development of logistics staff.
• Conduct audits and reviews of logistics processes to identify improvements.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
• Master's degree in Logistics or Supply Chain is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of logistics management experience

Technical Skills

• SAP Logistics Software
• Data Analysis Tools

Soft Skills

• Team Leadership
• Negotiation

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Certification
• Certified in Logistics, Transportation and Distribution (CLTD)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational

Advantageous

• Knowledge of Supply Chain Analytics: Experience in using analytics for supply chain improvements.
• Background in Inventory Optimization: Experience in applying inventory optimization techniques.
