Job Description

As a Cloud Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in our organization by managing and optimizing cloud resources. Based in Johannesburg, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions that drive efficiency and scalability in our cloud operations.

Responsibilities

• Architect cloud solutions that meet the business requirements efficiently.
• Implement monitoring and logging solutions for cloud services.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and organization policies.
• Assist in capacity planning and demand forecasting strategies.
• Participate in regular assessments of cloud resources for optimization.
• Provide training and support to team members on cloud technologies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in cloud computing and DevOps

Certifications

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Terraform: Knowledge of using Terraform for infrastructure as code solutions.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins: Experience in managing continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
