Responsibilities

• Assist in the operation of deck machinery and equipment.
• Collaborate with other crew members to ensure effective vessel operations.
• Conduct emergency drills and adhere to safety practices.
• Maintain accurate logs of vessel performance and equipment status.
• Provide support during drills and emergencies to ensure crew safety.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent
• Diploma in Marine Studies is advantageous

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a marine environment preferred

Technical Skills

• Marine Equipment Maintenance

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of Marine Regulations: Familiarity with maritime laws and adherence to environmental policies.
• Experience in Crew Management: With experience assisting in the management of crew resources and schedules.
