Job Description

We are looking for an energetic Human Resources Generalist to join our HR team in Durban. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our HR policies and procedures are well implemented, addressing employee needs, and supporting organizational growth.

Responsibilities

  • Streamline the onboarding process to enhance new hire experiences.
  • Implement strategies to improve employee retention rates.
  • Conduct HR policy training and awareness sessions.
  • Support the HR Manager in strategic planning.
  • Engage in succession planning for key positions.
  • Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Provide HR support during audits and reviews.
  • Conduct employee surveys to assess workplace satisfaction.
  • Assist in the management of labor relations and union engagements.
  • Support management with performance improvement plans.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
  • Master's in Human Resources Management is advantageous
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in Human Resources
