Responsibilities

• Perform risk assessments and recommend appropriate changes to underwriting guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in all underwriting assessments.
• Assist in the development of insurance products that meet market needs.
• Mentor junior staff on underwriting principles and practices.

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science or a related field: Degree holders may have an advantage in risk assessment.
• Fluency in Afrikaans or Zulu: Being bilingual can enhance client relations, especially in diverse communities.
