Job Description

The Timekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing the timekeeping processes within the organization. This role ensures accurate recording and reporting of employee hours worked, manages attendance tracking systems, and enforces company policies.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of timekeeping systems and ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Train and support timekeeping staff in using technology and software.
  • Evaluate timekeeping data for accuracy and report discrepancies.
  • Foster a positive work environment by addressing staff concerns efficiently.
  • Engage in regular audits of records to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Facilitate the integration of new timekeeping technologies and practices.
  • Prepare quarterly summaries and reports for management review.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of labor laws and implications for the organization.
  • Coordinate with the IT department for updates and system maintenance.
  • Lead initiatives to optimize attendance tracking processes.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in timekeeping or HR management.
Technical Skills
  • Payroll software experience
  • HRIS proficiency
Soft Skills
  • Effective communication
Certifications
  • Advanced Certification in HR
Languages
  • English: Fluent

Advantageous

  • Experience in supervisory roles: Prior experience managing staff is preferred.
