Job Description

As a Community Outreach Coordinator at Community Connections Non-Profit, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing community relations and driving engagement initiatives. You will be responsible for developing outreach strategies, coordinating events, and collaborating with local organizations to foster community involvement and support.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate workshops and training sessions for community members.
• Evaluate community programs and recommend improvements.
• Work closely with the marketing team to increase community engagement.
• Support volunteer recruitment and retention initiatives.
• Attend community meetings and represent the organization.
• Collaborate with other departments to align outreach efforts with organizational goals.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Non-Profit Management or related field

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in non-profit or community outreach

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Fluent

Advantageous

• Bilingual in Xhosa: Ability to communicate in Zulu and Xhosa is advantageous.
