Construction Project Manager

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead our construction projects in Cape Town. This role requires effective communication skills, a deep understanding of construction methods, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement project plans, including timelines and resource allocations.
• Monitor project costs and financial performance.
• Coordinate and supervise work done by subcontractors.
• Ensure that the project complies with environmental regulations.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement within project management.
• Provide technical guidance and support to project teams.
• Prepare and maintain all necessary project documentation.
• Engage with clients to understand their needs and expectations.
• Organize and lead project meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and next steps.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 7+ years of experience in managing large-scale construction projects

Certifications

• Certified Construction Manager (CCM)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Basic
