Truss Assembler

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Truss Assembler to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience in building and assembling trusses for various construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Review assembly instructions before starting any project.
• Utilize measuring and cutting tools effectively.
• Participate in quality control checks during the assembly process.
• Record daily production output and report to the Production Manager.
• Ensure proper handling of materials to prevent damage.
• Engage in continuous improvement strategies to enhance assembly efficiency.
• Assist in maintaining inventory levels of materials used in assembly.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in carpentry or timber construction

Technical Skills

• CNC equipment operation
• Measuring and layout skills

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Teamwork

Certifications

• Additional certification in manufacturing or carpentry

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in quality control processes: Experience in overseeing product quality during assembly.
• Training in workplace safety: Certification or training in health and safety regulations.
