Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Tutor to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. This role will involve working with students of various ages to enhance their understanding of subjects such as Maths, Science, and Languages. The ideal candidate will be patient, engaging, and skilled in creating customized learning plans that cater to individual student needs.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement tailored tutoring sessions for students.
• Assess students’ strengths and weaknesses in core subjects.
• Encourage student participation and foster a love for learning.
• Prepare students for exams by conducting mock tests and providing revision strategies.
• Collaborate with other educators to improve tutoring methodologies.
• Provide emotional support and mentorship to students.
• Help students build confidence in their academic abilities.
• Encourage lifelong learning habits through engaging teaching methods.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Postgraduate studies in Education are a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of tutoring experience preferred

Certifications

• First Aid Certificate (advantageous)
