Job Description

We are seeking an Electrostatic Painter to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying high-quality paint coatings to metal surfaces using advanced electrostatic spraying equipment. Your expertise will ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and mask metal parts prior to the painting process.
• Ensure proper operation of electrostatic painting machines.
• Perform maintenance checks on painting equipment and report issues.
• Follow safety and environmental regulations throughout the painting process.
• Ensure that all painted items meet the required quality standards.
• Keep track of paint supply levels and manage inventory effectively.
• Complete relevant paperwork and maintain electronic records of operations.
• Assist with additional manufacturing tasks as directed by the Operations Manager.
• Actively participate in workplace safety and improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Matric or equivalent
• Relevant technical qualifications preferred

Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, specifically in painting.
