DevOps Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team in Bloemfontein, where you will play a crucial role in automating our deployment processes and improving system reliability. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of cloud environments and infrastructure as code.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain documentation related to infrastructure and application performance.
• Evaluate and integrate new tools and technologies to improve the DevOps process.
• Provide support and training to development teams on DevOps principles and practices.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Design disaster recovery plans to ensure data integrity and availability.
• Build and maintain monitoring solutions for proactive issue identification.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or related fields

Technical Skills

• AWS
• Docker and Kubernetes

• Google Cloud Certified - Professional DevOps Engineer
