Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Catering Coordinator to manage our catering operations in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating catering services for various events, ensuring quality service delivery, and maintaining strong client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute catering services according to client specifications.
  • Supervise and train catering staff for events.
  • Negotiate with suppliers for best pricing on food and materials.
  • Gather customer feedback and implement improvements to service delivery.
  • Create detailed reports on event performance and client feedback.
  • Develop marketing strategies to promote catering services.
  • Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
  • Assist in developing new catering packages and menus.
  • Convene regular meetings with clients to ensure satisfaction.
  • Participate in team training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field
Experience
  • 5 years of experience in catering or event management
