Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable Employment Law Advisor to join our HR Compliance Solutions team. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of South African labor laws, providing legal guidance on employment issues and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Guide clients through employment law compliance issues.
• Review and update HR policies to align with legal standards.
• Facilitate conflict resolution and mediation between parties.
• Conduct audits to assess adherence to labor laws.
• Provide legal assessments for employee complaints.
• Support in drafting legal documentation and reports.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of South African labor law.
• Develop training materials tailored to specific legal topics.
• Offer strategic advice to management regarding labor relations.
• Assist with investigations into workplace complaints.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Law or related field
• Master's degree in Labour Relations is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in legal advisory roles related to employment law
