Job Description

We are currently seeking a Payroll Consultant in Pretoria to manage payroll processes for our diverse client base. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with local regulations and delivering accurate payroll services. You will play a pivotal role in analyzing payroll data and implementing improvements to streamline payroll operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee payroll processing, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
• Run payroll systems and ensure accurate data entry and integrity.
• Generate and review payroll reports for discrepancies.
• Coordinate with external auditors during payroll audits.
• Advise management on payroll-related issues and challenges.
• Facilitate payroll related projects and system improvements.
• Assist in employee onboarding and benefits administration related to payroll.
• Conduct market research to benchmark payroll practices and compensation.
• Prepare documentation for payroll compliance and audits.
• Analyze payroll data to identify patterns and trends.

Requirements

Education

• Postgraduate diploma in Payroll Management is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of payroll experience, preferably in a consulting environment

Technical Skills

• SAGE Payroll
• HR Systems Integration

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Teamwork

Certifications

• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP)

Languages

• English: Fluent
