Job Description

The Hand Laster will be responsible for performing hand lathing activities for a construction company. This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work with various materials and surfaces.

Responsibilities

• Execute hand lathing tasks as directed by the Production Manager.
• Interpret and follow construction plans accurately.
• Perform drywall installation and repair work competently.
• Prepare and apply finishing materials with attention to detail.
• Ensure the completed work adheres to industry standards and best practices.
• Assist in training new staff and share expertise with the team.
• Evaluate project requirements and assist in planning daily tasks.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 10/12 or equivalent
• Trade certification in relevant construction skills preferred

Experience

• 2-3 years in a similar capacity or related field

Technical Skills

• Physical strength and stamina
• Material knowledge

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving ability
• Team player

Certifications

• First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in framing and carpentry: Hands-on experience in related fields can enhance your profile.
