Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Learning Development Consultant to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instructional design and be well-versed in adult learning principles. You will be responsible for creating impactful learning experiences that drive engagement and knowledge retention.

Responsibilities

• Develop competency frameworks and assessments for various roles.
• Engage in strategic planning for learning initiatives.
• Identify and leverage technology tools to enhance learning experiences.
• Advocate for continuous learning within the organisation.
• Collaborate with HR to integrate learning into talent management strategies.
• Organise and facilitate mentoring and coaching programs.
• Support the development of leadership training initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Master's degree in Educational Technology is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years specifically in corporate learning environments

Technical Skills

• Learning Management Systems (LMS)
• Digital Learning Tools

Soft Skills

• Adaptability
• Critical Thinking

Certifications

• Learning Experience Designer Certification
• Project Management Professional (PMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies: Experience in applying Agile principles to learning projects.
