As a General Practitioner in our Cape Town location, you will be the first point of contact for patients seeking medical attention. Your responsibilities will include evaluating patient health, diagnosing conditions, and prescribing treatments while ensuring the highest quality of care. Responsibilities

• Establish rapport with patients and build strong patient-practitioner relationships.
• Implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
• Incorporate evidence-based practices into patient care.
• Conduct preventive screening tests and interpret results.
• Engage in community outreach and health promotion initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• MBChB or equivalent
• Postgraduate qualifications in a related field are advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in family medicine

Technical Skills

• Physical Examination
• Emergency Care

Soft Skills

• Interpersonal Skills
• Time Management

Certifications

• HPCSA registration
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic

Advantageous

• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR): Experience in using EHR systems for patient management.
• Bilingual proficiency: Ability to communicate in multiple languages will be valued.
