Conveyor Operators and Tenders

Job Description

We are seeking motivated Conveyor Operators and Tenders to join our team. This role involves loading and unloading grain, operating handling equipment, and ensuring safety in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operation of grain loading equipment.
• Keep the work area tidy and free of hazards.
• Follow established procedures and protocols at all times.
• Assist in training new operators on equipment use and safety.
• Document grain quantities and maintain accurate records.
• Perform regular inspections of equipment.
• Coordinate with the Harvest Manager for daily tasks and priorities.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss workflow improvements.
• Contribute towards maintaining high-quality customer service.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• No prior experience required, but relevant experience is an advantage.

Technical Skills

• Ability to operate mechanical equipment
• Basic mathematical skills

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail
• Team collaboration

Certifications

• Forklift License (advantageous)
• Health and Safety Training (preferred)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with grain handling equipment: Previous work with similar machinery is beneficial.
• Willingness to work overtime: Flexibility is valued in peak seasons.
